Securing Issued Patents in Challenging Times

According to the Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the patent allowance rate in the US dropped to 43% for the first quarter of 2008, down from a patent allowance rate of 72% at the USPTO as recently as 2000. Yet through carefully crafted technical characterizations and persuasive and creative lawyering, Modern Times Legal is soundly beating these statistics overall, as it continues in most cases to secure allowances and issued patents to facilitate the successful licensing and/or commercialization of a range of new technologies.
